Break The Cycle

For more information, please visit: www.breakthecycle.org

OUR MISSION:
Break the Cycle engages, educates and empowers young people to build lives and communities free from domestic and dating violence.

Teen dating violence is an urgent, silent epidemic. One in three teens will experience abuse in a dating relationship and more than two-thirds of them will never report it to anyone.

Break the Cycle believes everyone has the right to safe and healthy relationships. We are the leading, national nonprofit organization addressing teen dating violence. We work every day towards our mission to engage, educate and empower youth to build lives and communities free from domestic violence.

Our Values
Break the Cycle commits to creating positive change. We believe knowledge is the key to empowerment. As employees, as an organization and as a leader in the community, we work to shape a world in which everyone is safe from relationship violence. We believe such a world is possible and that it is our duty to nurture its growth.

Break the Cycle trusts young people as experts in their own experience and needs. We value them as decision makers and believe they have the power to build upon their inherent capacity to change the world.

Break the Cycle values diversity in its many forms. We are committed to providing services that meet the unique needs of all youth, regardless of gender, class, sexual preference or race. We serve many distinct subpopulations, including homeless, rural, incarcerated, disabled and immigrant youth.

Break the Cycle evolves to meet the communities’ needs, working together to create lasting solutions to dating violence. We are dedicated to providing competent, respectful and personalized services by collaborating with partner organizations, being fiscally sound and building grassroots, community support.

Break the Cycle values innovation. We seek and implement pioneering ideas to better serve young people. We believe this creative vision sets our programs apart in their ability to create lasting and effective change.

Help Prevent Child Abuse

For more information, please visit: www.in-n-out.com/foundation

Since 1984, In-N-Out Burger has been helping abused and neglected children. It is our way of giving something back to the communities where we live and do business. More importantly, it is a way of giving victims of abuse something they might not have...hope!

The In-N-Out Burger Foundation (the “Foundation”) was established in March 1995 as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. The Foundation’s purpose is to assist children who have been victims of child abuse, and to prevent others from suffering a similar fate. The Foundation supports organizations that provide residential treatment, emergency shelter, foster care, and early intervention for children in need.

The Foundation is supported primarily through donor contributions and internal fundraising activities sponsored by In-N-Out Burger. In addition, In-N-Out Burger pays all costs associated with the Foundation, so that every penny raised goes directly to help abused and neglected children!
